SMALL HOUSE INTERIOR
Tenby Point | Westernport | Bunurong Country
This project introduces a series of small, powerful changes to the interior of a 1.5 bedroom 1970s house, to maximise functionality, improve comfort, and bring generosity to compact spaces.
Doorways are re-positioned and widened to allow light and views to be shared between rooms, and doors are constructed with patterned glass, providing informal privacy while maintaining visual connections.
The living room cathedral ceiling is fitted with new plywood lining and high performance insulation, and each room includes custom, built-in timber joinery to maximise spatial efficiency, and add a small touch of luxury.
